Partnership to continue

Today was a good day that became a huge step in continuing a great partnership with HBS Development Inc. I have been with HBS for 14 years and recently informed them that I would be leaving to pursue my goal of having an independent design company. There are always risks with leaving a company. I've had to do it a few times, but today with a handshake, a continued future exists. My goal is to have 3-4 area builders in my portfolio and with time I believe that will be a possibility.
I've invested half my life into learning every aspect of construction. I spent 4 years on a framing crew to learn what it takes to build a house. I spent 5 years learning how to develop land. I spent 7 years designing commercial properties all over southwest Ohio including a majority of Brown Street in Dayton. However, my joy has always been residential architecture. No two houses are ever the same and the ability to turn a complex page full of lines into a beautiful home that someone is going to call home is the greatest reward. My designs have been in Modern House Magazine, House Trends multiple times and have been awarded in local home shows. I take what I do very serious.
This is going to be a great journey. Stay tuned or even better, contact me for what I do best.
